About the Richmond Group

Richmond Group (Asia Pacific) Ltd. is a highly successful Phuket property developer focused on creating quality developments catering to high-end markets and the international investment community. Richmond Asset Management Limited was founded in Hong Kong in 1991 by CEO, Graham Bibby, under the authorization of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.

Phuket Resort Managment and Richmond Construction were later added to the portfolio by Mr. Bibby with the logistic view of property development in Phuket.

Graham Bibby has more than 20 years experience in the investment management field specializing in Absolute Returns strategies.  Since 1985 he has undertaken constant and extensive research into investment management techniques and what makes markets move.  As a result of his findings he has developed a system of investment management that utilizes a combination of fundamentals, technical analysis and investor psychology producing absolute returns in all market conditions.  He has managed portfolios for 12 years along with his research team and has attracted a lot of press interest with his Funds Optimization and Cash Management Services. 

Mr. Bibby was also the Chairman of the Technical Analysts' Society of Hong Kong from 1996 to 1998 and is fully authorized by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission in the capacity as an Asset Manager and an Adviser in Securities. 

He is an experienced public speaker, appearing regularly on CNBC Squawk Box and Asia Market Wrap programs.  CNN as well as BBC World regularly ask Graham to interpret key market events on various financial programmes.  He is also a regular speaker at investment Forums, and has been a keynote speaker in many Fund Management Conferences throughout Asia challenging the traditional Fund Management approach.  He regularly writes for a number of the Asian financial press and publishes his own market commentaries, The Truth and Richmond Report. 

Since moving to Hong Kong in 1989 Graham has visited many countries across the world, his favourite of which is Thailand. Since 1989 Graham has regualry visited Phuket and in 1998 he recognised an exciting opportunity to expand his business. Phuket had been growing steadily and more expatriates were travelling to Phuket looking for either holiday or retirement properties.

Graham began to acquire large amounts of land surrounding the Laguna area, where many of the Island's 5-star hotels are located with the intention of doing developments in these areas. His years of experience in 5 star resorts across the world has meant he pays special attention to detail. As such, Graham recruited some of  the best architects, designers, and project managers from around the globe to join his team. Richmond Construction was founded to ensure an optimun level of quality and to differentiate himself from other local developers.

In 2000 Graham completed his first project, THE HIMMAPHAN - a luxury 8 bedroom villa retreat. THE HIMMAPHAN was (and still is) a highly popular retreat for families and corporate get-aways. Meanwhile THE RESIDENCE I was launched and sold out very quickly.

To accommodate demand THE RESIDENCE II and THE RESIDENCE III were later launched, and THE RESIDENCE IV has just been launched!
